THE ONION AND THE FERN

A geriatric love story, among other things. It begins with an inquiry to Mount Holyoke College as to the whereabouts of one of its students from the class of 1962, leading to an email correspondance that quickly becomes passionate. The story then returns to 1957,with the arrival of a Hungarian refugee in the life of a sheltered American teenage girl and follows the life of these two people through their meetings in the Berlin of the twenty-first century.
